About This Boot Camp

This is an intensive 12 week Fullstack Developer Boot Camp. You are required to attend daily classroom instruction sessions. And will be required to complete assignments, exercises, and activities outside of the planned classroom time as homework each evening.

Your active participation during classroom instruction and your performance on boot camp assignments will be considered for your overall grade.

System Requirements

For performance reasons, it is recommended that students use a computer with multi-threading processor and sufficient RAM on a 64-bit operating systems.

  • Example: dual-core (2 thread each) processor running at 2.5 GHz with 16GB RAM
  • Better: quad-core (2 or more threads each) processor running above 3.5 GHz with 32+GB RAM
  • Additional RAM usually makes the biggest difference in performance

Teleconferencing Requirements

To facilitate teleconference, screen-sharing and use of cloud-based services, students must have:

  • A webcam
  • Reasonable network connectivity (a wired connection is best). A network connection with speeds of 3-5Mbps upload/10-12 Mbps download is usually sufficient; faster connection (8-10 Mbps up/30 Mbps down) would improve performance for some activities
  • Headset and microphone

Other Items

  • Students should a dedicated home office/work area
  • Notepads, pens, and other office supplies
